  • Introduction to new experimental analytical methods and theoretical models of friction processes

  • normal contact without adhesion - Hertzian contact
  • tangential contact problem
  • rolling contact
  • contact between rough surfaces - Persson's theory
  • rubber friction
  • Adhesive contact
  • thermal and electrical effects in contacts
  • plastic contacts
  • stick-slip effect
  • the Prandtl-Tomlinson model
  • introduction to nanotribology
  • nanomanipulation
  • wear
